Middle Eastern Pickling uses a combination of food preservation methods including salting, fermentation and the use of preservatives such as vinegar.
Come learn about the history, heritage and different preparation methods of Torshi in Egypt, Lebanon, Turkey, Iran, Afghanistan etc.

We will enjoy delicious samples at the workshop!
Participants will take home a jar of preserved vegetables.

Workshops will be mainly given in English, mais nous encourageons les participantes a s’exprimer en francais.

Unfortunately, the kitchen space is not wheel-chair accessible. It is on the first floor of the building with a dozen steps to reach the front door.

There are two gender-neutral bathrooms on the second floor of the building.
