A natural implementation of permaculture practice, fermentation is a healthful, safe, low energy method of food preservation.
Join us for an info session on fermentation methods for popular transformations, including kombucha, sauerkraut and the essentials of home fermentation.

At the conclusion of the workshop you will have a basic understanding of :
– Various methods of fermentation
– How to cultivate, feed and store your ferments for long and short term use.
– Relevant food safety and sanitization for ferments & identifying dangers.
-Locations to buy supplies, including cheap veggies
-Resources for more hands-on learning
