Do you dream of growing organic and delicious herbs year-round, indoors and outdoors?

Come learn to grow an abundance of culinary herbs so you can flavour your meals to your heart’s content! This workshop will cover specifics about how to best grow popular varieties of herbs and spices on your balcony, in your garden, and indoors in the winter.

We invite Jonah Neumark from Neumark Design, who has been growing vegetables and herbs for more than 12 years, to share his experience with growing and cooking with herbs.

We will touch on general plant care and gardening practices and will talk specifics about the following herbs:

Lavender
Thyme
Oregano
Rosemary
Basils
Garlic
Mint
Hot peppers
Dill
Turmeric
Ginger
Lemongrass
Cilantro and coriander
Parsley
Sage
Bay leaves
Chives
Winter savory
Sorrel
Lemon balm

$17.50 Community members

Add $5.00 to bring home an herb of your choice.

Can’t make it on this day? No problem, we are giving this workshop again on Thursday, April 5 from 6:00pm to 8:30pm.
