Duration: 1.5hrs hours

Come for a walk with us and get to know your campus food system! From cafes to farmer’s markets, we’ll take you on a tour of all the tastiest student-led spots on campus to get affordable meals, snacks, coffees, teas, tisanes, groceries, free food, and more!

We’ll talk a bit about the history of these places and how they work, where you can access free food on campus, let you know about ways you can get involved, and sample some items along the way 🙂

Still hungry? I feel you. A hungry-student pro-tip from me and my cohort to you: check out the poster boards located all throughout campus, find out about your student member association by finding them on facebook, google searching, or asking your department’s secretary, or join a campus student campaign for social, environmental, and economic justice! Poster boards, member associations, and student campaigns host amazing free events all year and they always have free food! Bonus points: you get to meet other new students and learn about dope things!

Sometimes there are free cooking classes offered throughout the year where students get to prepare a meal together and take some home. For more information write us at: externalconcordiafoodcoalition@gmail.com
