Market Ambassador

The Concordia Farmer’s Market has existed since 2014 and is concerned with bringing affordable, healthy, sustainable fruits and vegetables, as well as artisan goods and unique art, to the Concordia and Downtown community, every Wednesday starting May 9th until August 29th, from 12:00 to 18:00.

The roll of the Market Ambassador is to educate the general public on the Concordia Farmer’s Market and the importance of local, sustainable food systems. Ambassador’s will work in small teams to hand out flyers and host fun activities that engage the public like: colouring contests for kids, taste testings, and local seasonal produce trivia games. Ambassador’s who play music or make art are encouraged to bring their talents to the Market!

Once your application has been received, we will contact eligible students to set up an interview the week of April 23rd, 2018. Training will take place May 4th (tentatively).
