Looking for a gardening opportunity downtown during the summer?

Apply for Campus Potager’s internship, and learn about permaculture, food transformation, and medicinal herbs.

This internship is perfect for people with basic to no knowledge about urban gardening.

What to expect:
– During the semester, there will be workshops once every two weeks, most probably on the weekend.
– During the summer, interns will participate in daily activities up to 5 hours a week.
– Learn about all stages of food production: grow seedlings, plant them, prune and weed, harvest, transform and sell at markets.
– Concordia students can get credits on their co-curricular record.
– No cost, but non-paid internship. However, interns get a portion of food produced 😉

How to apply:
– Write a short letter of intent to campuspotager@gmail.com. We want to know about your interest in urban gardening, and if you have previous gardening experiences. We want to get a feel of what the cohort looks like.
– Send it before February 23rd, 2018.

Campus Potager is an urban gardening group at Concordia University, funded through Concordia Food Coalition (CFC). We aim at transforming unused space on the SGW campus into productive gardens.
We currently have gardens at three locations, and we aim at expanding our operations to rooftops as well for summer 2019.
We believe in the potential of gardening in the city, and we will make our campus more sustainable, one garden at a time!
