For this special Workshop Season Jars will bring community members to share their expertise in Sourdough Bread Making!

Come meet Lea and Wendi and learn how to make your own sourdough bread!

We will enjoy delicious bread samples at the workshop!

Participants will take a rustic loaf to bake at home and a starter to continue your bread making journey.

TOPIC: History, biology and chemistry of sourdough

RECIPE: Sourdough bread

COST: $10
Participants Please bring:

•A (1 cup) covered container to take home a starter
•A (8 cup) mixing bowl with lid to take your loaf of bread to bake at home.

ACCESSIBILITY

If you still want to participate but cannot cover the cost of registration for any reason, please e-mail us to work out an alternative.

Workshops will be mainly given in English, mais nous encourageons les participantes a s’exprimer en francais.

Unfortunately, the kitchen space is not wheel-chair accessible. It is on the first floor of the building with a dozen steps to reach the front door.

There are two gender neutral bathrooms on the second floor of the building.
