Herbs can used to recover for everything, from beating the flu to recovering from seasonal depression but the amount of medicinal herbs that grow out there can be a little overwhelming to the herbal newcomer.

This hands-on workshop is aimed at the beginner herbalist. We will focus on three specific herbs native to Quebec and give a broad introduction and history to herbalism. The herbs chosen are going to be great Winter allies to help with the Quebec cold.

We will learn how and when to use these herbs, as well as how to transform them into oils, tinctures and salves.

There will also be a delicious tea tasting session at the beginning using our own farm-grown herbs.

We will make a transformation in the workshop (a tincture or salve) that people can take home. People who purchase reduced cost tickets will not be taking the transformation however.

Please register on eventbrite to reserve your place.

RSVP required – $12-$18 a ticket
